Tapi ini yang versi ekonomis ya..

- 430 gr kelapa parut
- ½ sdt garam
- ½ sdt fanili bubuk
- 1 lembar daun pandan
- 220 gr gula
- 300 ml air kelapa ( boleh sesuai selera)

Di Washington, DC dan sekitarnya,

KBRI Washington DC akan menyelenggarakan Indonesian Festival bertema: “Celebrating Multiculturalism” yang akan menampilkan promosi budaya, musik dan juga upaya memecahkan rekor dunia bermain angklung. Acara akan diselenggarakan pada:
Hari/Tanggal :Sabtu, 9 Juli 2011
Waktu: 11.00 – 20.00
Tempat:Washington National Monument (National Mall) di Washington, DC

Pada Festival ini akan dibuka stand/booth yang terdiri dari: trade, tourism, agriculture, education, consular service, American Companies in Indonesia, Traditional Dress Photo Studio, Batik dan Information Desk serta stand makanan Indonesia.

Panitia mengundang partisipasi masyarakat yang berminat untuk membuka stand makanan pada acara tersebut. Sesuai peraturan National Park Service, para vendor makanan diwajibkan untuk mendapatkan ijin/permit dengan cara mengisi formulir terlampir (attachment: Standard Public Health Requirements for Temporary Food Establishments). Pengajuan ijin memakan waktu 70 hari sebelum hari pelaksanaan. Mohon dibaca semua peraturan dan persyaratan yang tertera pada formulir tersebut, dimana syarat utamanya adalah harus memiliki Food Service License yang harus dilampirkan foto copy license dimaksud.

Bagi yang berminat membuka stand makanan, diharapkan kehadirannya di KBRI Washington, DC pada hari Rabu, 13 April 2011, pukul 2.00 siang dengan membawa Food Service/Safety License. Pada kesempatan ini akan dijelaskan mengenai pelaksanaan Festival khususnya stand makanan dan Panitia akan membantu dalam hal pengisian formulir.

Acara festival ini akan dimeriahkan dengan penampilan band Indonesia, tarian tradisional Indonesia, American band, Australian dance, Poco-poco serta Silat Al Azhar. Puncak acara adalah persembahan pertunjukan angklung oleh Mang Udjo sekaligus upaya memecahkan rekor bermain angklung terbesar di dunia yang dimainkan oleh warga berbagai bangsa untuk dicatat dalam Guinness World Record: “The World Largest Angklung Ensemble”. Pada acara ini ditargetkan sekitar 5000 orang akan bermain angklung.

Panitia sangat berharap, partisipasi seluruh masyarakat untuk hadir dalam acara Festival Indonesia tersebut untuk mempromosikan Indonesia, celebrating multiculturalism, serta menjadi bagian dari sejarah bermain angklung terbesar di dunia.
